Chris Smith

Chris Smith is a Martindale-Hubbell® AV Preeminent peer-review-rated attorney that has been recognized as a Journal Record Achiever Under 40 and has been named to the Super Lawyer Rising Star list from 2014-2020 as well as identified by Best Lawyers in the area of Family Law.

Chris focuses his practice on representing individuals in domestic litigation matters and he understands that business and personal matters are intimately intertwined. As a result, Chris believes an attorney’s full value is only realized when they are a strategic partner in the critical aspects of both business life and personal life.

Chris’ experience combined with his genuine compassion allows him to break down complex legal matters in a relatable way for his clients.

He represents individuals located throughout Oklahoma, Texas, and the Western United States in family law litigation. Chris does not shy away from complicated cases including ones that involve: highly contested custody matters, sexual abuse allegations, high-stakes property division, family businesses, and child support.

Outside of the office Chris is committed to multiple civic organizations, serves on the board of Oklahoma Institute of Child AdvocacyOklahoma Christian National Alumni Council and he is a member of the Oklahoma Advisory Committee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights.

Chris and his wife, Marissa, reside in Edmond, Oklahoma with their son, daughter, and their dog Rue. The family enjoys being active in their church and various community activities.

Tommy J. Pfeil

Tommy Pfeil is an attorney who works on a wide variety of Family Law issues such as divorce, child custody proceedings, child support issues, paternity and even adoptions and guardianships.
Tommy graduated from California State University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. He followed-up by attending the University of Oklahoma College of Law, from where he received his Juris Doctor in 2020.
Prior to his career in law, Tommy was a member of the United States Army and served as a Scout during deployments to high conflict areas such as Southern Afghanistan in 2011. In recognition of his service, Mr. Pfeil has been rewarded as a decorated combat veteran, which includes receiving the Purple Heart before retiring from active duty in 2013.
Tommy himself is a divorced parent of two young girls, so his clients benefit from their attorney having the perspective and understanding of being in their shoes. Although every case come with unique circumstances, divorce and co-parenting is an extended process. Tommy dedicated his life to serving our country and continues to serve by showing the same level of commitment to serving the country’s citizens, his clients.
Outside of his time at Ball Morse Lowe, Tommy volunteers his expertise at the Trinity Legal Clinic and the Military Law Society Pro Bono Wills Clinic. When not in the office or the courtroom, Tommy enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the great outdoors, and watching Sooner Football.

Sarah Willey

Sarah Willey is a double graduate from the University of Oklahoma, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. After graduating she worked for a non-profit in Tulsa before attending Oklahoma City University School of Law where she graduated cum laude.

Sarah served on the Oklahoma City University Law Review for two years before serving on the Board of Editors for the publication as a Resource Editor.

Sarah is close with her family in Eastern Oklahoma and enjoys traveling home to spend time with them. She enjoys not only spending time with family but art, theater, reading, and traveling.
